Full description
I made one of these for a friend who wanted a pretty mirror for next to her front door, so that she could quickly slick on some lip gloss before leaving the house!
On this one, the frame is grey with a little blue,dark blue and turquoise bird perching to the right of a pale smoky yellow branch, with three green leaves above. The bird’s feet and the leaf tendrils are worked in wire.
The technique I used for this piece was a copper foiling method for the bird ,the branch and the leaves and the mirror is leaded.
The Piece is mounted on a block of wood with a fixing for a hook, so that it can be hung easily.
