No sooner had I listed my Cotton Bobbin Memory Sticks, when fellow Folkser “SeeTheWoods” suggested I might make needle cases in a similar fashion. So I did just that.
This little beauty stands about 2 1/2" / 65mm high and is about 40mm diameter. I made it to take needles up to 2" long, so the proportions are different to a standard cotton reel. However, I can adjust the height before I send it off if you wish. The lid is a push fit.
I made the needle case from a log of ash that came, a few years ago, from a fallen branch just up the lane . My postage charge allows for 'signed for' service
