Full description
This may be small, but is certainly perfectly formed! A delightful demi tasse (small coffee cup) in a pale duck-egg blue, accented with a small floral panel. Produced by the prolific Colclough pottery, this is true vintage, being aged around 50 to 60 years in age.
The cup measures 5cm in height, and 4.5cm in diameter across the top, while the saucer has a diameter of 11cm.
The candle is 100% pure EcoSoya wax, which comes from a fully sustainable resource, is biodegradable, and burns cleanly with no soot or smoke.
The wax has been left in it’s natural colour of light ivory, and has a beautiful silky and creamy appearance. The candle can be fragranced with your choice of scent - sweet pea, rose, jasmine, vanilla, cinnamon or apple – PLEASE STATE YOUR SCENT CHOICE WHEN YOU PLACE YOUR ORDER with a “message to the seller”.
A further benefit of using EcoSoya wax is that any spills can be cleaned easily with hot soapy water – as can your gorgeous cup and saucer, leaving you with a true collector’s piece of vintage crockery to either display, or to use.
As with any true vintage item, the condition of this cup and saucer reflect their age and usage over the years. We rate the condition of this cup and saucer as “good” being in a used condition, but very well cared for considering it’s age – there is some slight crazing to the glazes, but this is normal for china of this age, and does not detract at all from the beauty of the item.
Please note that all candles are made to order, so please allow up to 5 days for dispatch.
