Full description
Vintage feather garters by margolily are perfect for cheeky brides. Each unique garter can be decorated with silk and ribbon flowers, pearls, sparkles, buttons and broken jewellery from my precious, vintage treasure collection. You can even send me some of your own treasures to incorporate into an heirloom margolily headpiece. Atouch of blue can always be added too
Please let me know your thigh measurement when ordering.
Each piece is individually hand made with unique materials and can be designed just for you in bespoke designs and colours. Pick from the margolily palette of ivory, black, silver grey, french navy, electric blue, turquoise, teal, olive, gold, orange, scarlet, cerise, purple and plum.
Please allow 3 weeks from confirmation of delivery till carefully packaged delivery to your door. If you need your headpiece for a special date please let me know and I can work with this in mind.
Feathers used in designing margolily headpieces are mainly sourced from America as natural shedding or by product (much like a feather pillow) and any native feathers are collected in Scotland by an ornithologist friend. In memory of the devastatingly beautiful Spix Macaw which is sadly now extinct in the wild, 50% of sales from any turquoise feather pieces will be donated to the World Parrot Trust: http://www.parrots.org/
