a few years ago my grandma's friend gave me a shoebox full of 'bits and bobs' that her mother had kept... and inside (along with a slight musty smell and some dust) were lengths of intricately hand sewn tiny beaded creations, some over 100 years old! I polished them off and aired them a bit and they have now become some of my favorite pieces to work with.
I think that maybe this particular piece of beadwork was going to be trimming on an evening gown but maybe never made it, so i made this charming light grey and pearl delicate beadwork into a bracelet so that it can have a new lease of life and finally get the spotlight its been waiting for :)
It is roughly 17cm all the way round (around the wrist).
(please note that due to the fact the beadwork is so old it is very delicate so please treat it with care).
