Full description
This was my entry for the Folksy Angels competition. The brief was to make a christmas decoration out of re-cycled or up-cycled bits only.
I made this fabric wreath from scraps I had collected when I used to make doorstops and bunting - I had it in my head then to make something similar sometime but just hadn't got around to it!
The heart in the centre is made from handmade paper - I've started to make my own from shredded bank statements etc and this was an extra thick bit!
This is a lovely, delicate decoration that can be used for Christmas, Valentine's Day or any occasion - or no occasion! It looks pretty regardless!
