A cute little Aran Handbag which resembles a kitsch 50's dress, complete with kitten bow waist. It is handknitted in cream synthetic yarn, embellished with a brown taffeta bow and vintage effect button. The bag has a pleated body which is pulled into a fashionable cable patterned decorative panel by the use of clever pleating. The handles are knitting into the bag in a firm moss stitch and comprise of 2 fabric backed knitted layers to prevent the bag stretching out of shape. the bag is fully lined with a soft floral cotton fabric in complementing shades of brown and cream. I would advise handwashing the bag in warm water to avoid damaging the embellishments. This bag would either suit a teenager or lady who loves eye catching bags. I was inspired to create this bag because I wanted a warm cosy look to complement the current snap of cold weather. The bag measures 32com long by 12cm wide at the "waist" and 20cm at the widest part of the "skirt".It comfortable takes a purse, mobile and keys, making it the perfect accessory for the coming party season
