This is a lovely, chunky scarf. I knitted it in a traditional aran chain cable pattern with 2 strands of chocolate brown Rowan 4 ply wool. The yarn band (which will be included in a separate envelope) indicates it can be machine washed at 40, but I would hand wash it and gently pull it back into shape (if necessary) whilst still damp. There are lots of cable scarves on the high street at the moment, but there is nothing quite like this scarf and you wouldn't get a 100% pure wool scarf from the high street at this price. Scarf has my 'winterangel' tag sewn in and will be gift wrapped. Postage and packing is free for UK customers. I've guessed at £5.00 for postage to other countries, overseas customers please contact me for an accurate postage price.
