This image was inspired by a photograph of two of my daughters' friends. They had all just gone to separate universities and for me this 'hug' epitomised the depth of their friendship and the difficulty of leaving the people you have known and loved all your life, to launch yourself into a new environment with strangers.

This is an original hand-printed wood cut print, printed in a blue/black oil paint on a smooth cartridge paper.
The image features two friends enjoying a hug on the bed.
Limited edition run of only 10 prints.
Print area 135mm square. Overall paper size 180mm x 220mm.
This print is supplied unmounted so you can choose a mount and frame to suit your own taste.
