Full description
I have several of these swirly pendants in my shop and each is individual. As I sculpt the wire I let it twist and fold into coils to form beautiful flowing shapes and eventually a design that becomes wearable piece of unique jewellery.
This pendant is one of the larger ones measuring 60mm in length by 27mm in width.
It comes with a cotton waxed cord necklace of 18 inches that is also handmade but if you like the look of it on the V shaped torc shown in some of the photos this is also available to purchase in a seperate listing in my shop. I also think they look good on silver chains so if you have one of those you might want to experiment with that.
CARE:
Copper can turn the skin green when worn close to it but is easily washed off and not at all harmful.
Over time, like all metals bar pure gold and platinum, it will tarnish. if you prefer its shinier look you can buff it back to its former glory using a polishing cloth. It's a good idea to firstly to give it a little clean by using either washing up liquid in warm water and a soft toothbrush or white vinegar and warn water 1:1 and a soft toothbrush.
FOLKLORE:
Copper is a beautiful metal with connections to Venus the Goddess of love. It is also gifted on the 7th wedding anniversary and said to sooth pain from arthritus.
