Sunstone is a fabulous natural gemstone that belongs to the Feldspar family, like Labradorite. As such, the gemstone demonstrates a fascinating, spangled surface that shimmers with hidden depths due to the flashes of red copper and hematite that form minute scales within the gem.
For this magnificent pendant, I have used a large Sunstone doughnut upon which I have set a wire-wrapped snake. The snake is made from tarnish-resistant silver-plated wire and will keep its lustrous colour for many years. I set the head of the snake with a gorgeous pink Opal. The doughnut itself is 5cm x 5cm and the neckline is made from stainless steel to fit 18 inches, with a silver-plated toggle clasp.
NB The postage to the USA includes the tariff charges imposed by the US government.
