Full description
Handmade Yew Wooden Snowman
Bring a little handmade Christmas charm into your home with this hand turned yew wooden snowman, featuring a contrasting cherry wood hat and nose. His face and buttons are drilled and filled with a black infill.
Individually turned, sanded and finished by hand in our small Lancashire workshop, every snowman is unique. The natural yew grain, warm tones and darker character make each piece completely individual, complemented beautifully by the cherry wood details.
Perfect for a Christmas display, mantelpiece, shelf or festive table, and a lovely handmade Christmas gift for anyone who appreciates natural wood and traditional craftsmanship.
Designed by Russ & Sara and Handmade in Lancashire.
The Timber
Made from naturally characterful yew, with a cherry wood hat and nose. Natural variations in grain, colour and figure are part of what makes each handmade piece unique.
Dimensions: Approximately 155mm tall x 70mm wide.
Finish & Care
Hand sanded and finished with carnauba wax to bring out the natural beauty of the timber. Please keep dry and clean with a soft cloth. Carnauba wax can develop spots or marks when exposed to water or moisture, so please avoid getting the snowman wet.
Decorative Item - Not a Toy
This snowman is a decorative Christmas item.
Thoughtful Packaging
Wherever possible, I reuse sturdy cardboard boxes and packaging, giving them a second life. Your piece is carefully wrapped in eco-friendly tissue paper, sealed with a handmade RGH Woodturning sticker, and packed using paper tape and twine instead of plastic tape.
Bubble wrap is sometimes used when necessary for extra protection, but it is always reused. If included, please consider reusing it too.
A little less waste, without compromising the safe arrival of your handmade piece
