(SECOND) Hand Turned Yew Wood Snowman - Unique Shape & Character Marks
Every now and then, the wood has other plans!
This charming hand-turned yew snowman is being sold as a Second at almost 50% off my standard price because he didn't quite meet my usual production standard.
He is structurally sound and full of rustic character, but has a few unique features:
The original yew had a couple of natural seasoning cracks, which have been stabilised and filled with black Milliput.
When detailing his face and buttons, a couple of the black spots bled slightly into the surrounding wood grain.
He also turned out a little rounder and fatter than his brothers, giving him a quirky shape and making him completely one of a kind.
Finished with carnauba wax and a red-and-white cotton twine scarf, he makes a lovely budget-friendly addition to a Christmas display or mantelpiece.

Each RGH Woodturning snowman is individually made in our small Lancashire workshop. Natural timber means every piece has its own grain, colour, shape and character.

Thoughtful Packaging
Wherever possible, I reuse sturdy cardboard boxes and packaging, giving them a second life. Your snowman will be carefully wrapped in eco-friendly tissue paper, sealed with a handmade RGH Woodturning sticker, and packed using paper tape and twine instead of plastic tape.
Bubble wrap is used only when necessary for extra protection and is always reused. If included, please consider reusing it too.
Your snowman will also arrive with a handmade gift tag and care card.
Care & Returns
Finished with carnauba wax. Please keep dry and clean with a soft cloth. Water or moisture can mark the wax finish.
