Handsome Fergus is a spun cotton Fox
He wears a green neckerchief because he's quite a debonair kind of guy!
He has a tag with his name on and of course you can remove if you prefer a more simple look.
He is unique and hand made by me
I always add a signed tag as well
He is 10 cm in height
And 15 cm from head to tail
A bit about my 'spun cotton' process.
I start my pieces with wire and foil to form a shape and then that is refined and tightened.
with masking tape.. when I am completely happy with the form I start to add thin layers of cotton wool and glue.
It dries hard and gets harder with acrylic paints and varnish.
The finished piece is hard but lightweight and durable.
