Each kit contains 100g of Stylecraft Festive Sock Yarn ( 73% Superwash Wool / 25% Nylon). This colourful, variegated yarn is filled with sparkling detail, making it perfect for creating something special and Christmassy.

2 x printed knitting patterns
Both patterns are printed and included in your kit, giving you two different sock projects to try.
Pattern 1 - The Beginner-Friendly Sock
New to sock knitting or not quite ready to tackle knitting in the round? This pattern is a great place to start! The socks are worked flat and then seamed, so you can make a pair of socks without needing to use circular needles or double-pointed needles. There is a great range of sizes, from 4 years through to Adult Medium, making this a versatile pattern for knitting socks for little ones through to adults.
All sizes use one 100g ball of yarn, with the exception of the Adult Medium, which requires two balls.
Pattern 2 is perfect for the more adventurous knitter and introduces some classic sock-knitting techniques. The sock is worked from the cuff down, includes an afterthought heel, and finishes with a grafted toe. It's a great project for knitters who want to challenge themselves, learn some new techniques and enjoy the satisfaction of creating a traditional hand-knitted sock.
