Full description
Hand turned walnut bowl styled after a Japanese ramen receptacle. Thin, sloping sides to the bowl give it a refined feel when held in the hand, and the foot typical of a ramen bowl sets it proud on any table you might plant it on. Lots of chatoyance was unearthed while finishing this piece, giving shimmering quality to an almost tiger stripe pattern that sometimes features on English Walnut. Finished with pure walnut oil and beeswax. Dimensions 195mm wide x 70mm deep
Designed by Toby Bower
