Full description
Peacock in Bloom is an original mixed-media painting celebrating the extraordinary beauty of one of nature's most magnificent birds.
With his brilliant sapphire blues, turquoise greens and flashes of warm golden colour, this proud peacock takes centre stage amongst delicate white flowers and curling leaves. His magnificent patterned tail flows across the canvas like a cascade of feathers, creating a wonderful sense of movement and colour.
The background has been built up with soft, atmospheric layers, allowing the vibrant peacock to emerge almost like a jewel from an enchanted garden.
Created on canvas, the painting has been built up in layers using high-quality spray paint, acrylic paint and oil paint, creating depth, texture and a rich, expressive finish. Every layer adds another little detail, making this a truly unique original artwork.
The painting has been finished with a protective varnish to enhance the colours and help preserve the artwork for years to come.
The canvas edges are painted for a finished contemporary look, and D-rings are attached to the back, so the artwork is ready to hang and enjoy straight away.
