Full description
A very pretty original one off textile brooch by Johnny Biscuit Design which has been hand created with a thoughtful layering process of fabrics made from wool and wool felt.
With a combination of machine and hand sewing the 6 layers of fabric combinations and colours really do make this piece stand out from the crowd.
The brooch is approximately 4 inches in width (10.5cm) and has a little silver coloured metal pin hand stitched onto the back to secure in place on a coat, jacket or it could even be pinned to a fabric bag.
The colours within the brooch are beautiful plums, purples, black, teal, grey and fuchsia.
I've added a frayed black wool selvedge to the outer edges of the brooch and left the fabric edges unfinished on other layers so that it creates texture and interest.
