Horizontally cut linocut, signed and editioned in pencil.
Linocut image is 150mm x 205mm. Horizontally cut lines to create an image of a horse rider with flag.
Bold picture create with positive and negative spaces made by slightly varied cut widths with a lino cutting blade. Sharp detail, with a not so obvious image.. look slightly away with your periphery vision or squint your eyes for it to become clear, like an optical illusion.
All prints are completed on 160gsm paper, measuring (approx. 29cm x 42cm) using fade resistant inks. The black layer is manually cut, it is individually printed, signed, titled embossed and comes sandwiched between tissue paper, rolled in two cardboard tubes and sealed in a courier bag.
