Add some gothic lace to your reading with this handmade bookmark, inspired by stained glass windows in Victorian Gothic cathedrals.
MADE TO ORDER: please allow 3 days for completion of item.
This was hand shuttle tatted by me from an original design in high quality multicoloured cotton thread for the centre (a gorgeous mix of purple, medium turquoise and royal blue) and black cotton thread for the outside. It features a handmade cotton tassel with tatted cord in matching black. It features over 1,000 tiny double stitches.
It is just over 2.7 cm (1 inch) wide and 14.9 cm (just over 5 3/4 inches) long (excluding the tassel). The tassel (including the tatted cord loop) is just over 10.9 cm (just over 4 1/4 inches) long.
This creation will arrive in its own handmade stiff card slipcase with care instructions included. It can be hand washed.
This would make a great alternative 2nd Anniversary gift (for cotton) or as a birthday gift for the goth bibliophile in your life.
