Full description
I handcraft these snake panels in my Liverpool studio using traditional copper foil techniques. I've used a deep, rich emerald cathedral glass for the serpent, framed by a striking cobalt blue border. The texture of the cathedral glass is designed to catch the light differently as the day goes on, giving the snake a real sense of depth and movement.
I hand-cut, foil, and solder every piece myself. There's no plastic or acrylic involved-this is genuine, durable glass that won't fade over time. The panel measures approximately 33cm x 23cm and comes with a secure hanging wire already attached, so you can display it in a window or against a wall as soon as it arrives.
Because I work with textured glass, the swirls and patterns vary slightly from piece to piece, meaning the one you receive will be unique to you. These make a great gift for nature lovers, plant enthusiasts, or anyone who appreciates a bit of dark, geometric decor.
I've been working as a stained glass artist for over 10 years, so I have plenty of experience with packing and shipping glass safely.
