Full description
'Where the streets have...' is a variable edition A4 cyanotype print featuring a photo montage of every street sign within the bounds of the UNESCO World Heritage site of Saltaire in West Yorkshire.
Each of the signs in Saltaire is blue and white in real life matching the Prussian blue hues of the historic cyanotype process. This print has been hand coated, exposed and developed using this alternative photographic technique.
Because of the process involved, each print I make is subtly different. The borders are intentionally varied too, bringing a distinct character that makes each print unique.

Paper: 300gsm acid-free watercolour paper
Presentation: Signed, stamped, and titled by the artist on the front. Unframed.
Ideal For: Lovers of urban heritage, local history, or vintage typography. It adds a sense of nostalgia to any home, studio, or gallery wall. The street signs contains many common names and would be a great gift for someone who matches one of these.
Shipping & Packaging
Your print will be carefully packaged flat in a protective sleeve with a rigid cardboard backing to ensure it arrives safely. Care instructions are contained.
