This striking looking book features an inlaid 'eye', which is taken from the work of my artist sister - you can see more of this work on the inside covers. It is a book bound in the style known as exposed binding so that you can see the stitching (Coptic stitching and French link). This type of binding means that the pages open wide and lie flat making it ideal to be used as a sketchbook, though it would also make an attractive notebook. It is filled with many pages of lovely thick Fabriano paper. It measures 21cm x 15cm x 2cm. It would make a delightful gift for a special person.
