Full description
Inspired by lichen, this handcrafted sterling silver necklace combines layered lichen shapes with delicate dangling elements in a contemporary T-bar style design. Nestled amongst the lichen is a small 4mm moonstone, adding a subtle shimmer, while touches of 24ct gold foil bring warmth and contrast to the silver. The necklace is finished with a handmade toggle clasp.
Created using traditional silversmithing techniques and recycled sterling silver, the necklace has a softly textured surface. The asymmetrical arrangement and suspended lichen detail add gentle movement while remaining comfortable and easy to wear.
One of the things I love most about this piece is that its details are not instantly noticeable. Rather than being a bold statement, it feels personal much like the miniature worlds found in nature that often go unnoticed until we pause to look more closely.
Each necklace is individually handmade, making every piece unique. While the overall design and placement of the lichen elements will remain consistent, no two necklaces will be exactly the same.
