Solace Vessel: 7
Entirely hand built and hand painted one-of-a-kind smoke fired style vessel/vase, created using only clay and acrylic paints. For this piece, I have created an aged textured surface and used a blend of soft ash greys and blues, warm rust tones and deep smoky char to evoke the ancient fire-kissed pottery look of smoke fired vessels. I added the stamped 'Calm' motif as a little extra grounding detail for this unique solace vessel.
My solace vessel/vase is perfect as a stand alone piece of wabi-sabi decor or as a decorative vase for dried botanicals, grasses or lichen covered twigs.
This vessel is intended for decorative use only as, while durable and externally sealed, is not internally waterproof.
