Full description
A blue window mobile with a central Brilliant cut floral square & 4 cut stars in the corners. The 9 individual pieces of hand made glass being leaded together with
a copper hanging hook soldered to the top. The brilliant cut pieces of glass are
a type of glass called " flashed " with a thin layer of colour on a thicker layer of clear.
The glass is held against a grinding wheel to remove some of the colour to create the
pattern the individual cuts are then polished to give a bright finish. All the work is carried out by hand/eye. The glass is all hand made so can contain some bubble called " seeds " of lines called " cords " This is part of the nature of the glass
The mobile is about 11cm square. It would be well paced & sent via Royal mail
