'The Storm over the Hills' is a tiny, mixed media collage float mounted into an ornate wooden frame.
My collages are created by layering a variety of papers, including handmade Khadi papers, and then painted with gouache paints. I then work into the layers with water soluble and permanent pencils to create texture and depth. The collage is then held in place with artist quality Neutral pH adhesive and float mounted. This collage is framed in a beautiful, ornate wooden frame and is not glazed.
