The inspiration behind my hearts was to combine the Japanese concept of Wabi Sabi (embracing the beauty of imperfection and finding value in the authentic) with Kintsugi (the 'joinery' of repairing broken pottery with gold). Instead of hiding the cracks, these techniques highlight and honour the charm in flaws and encourage us to find the joy in mindfulness.
Your special heart has a piece of vintage fabric, softened with time, which honours age, character and uniqueness.
Despite life's challenges, defining moments shape who we are. They represent the celebration of the perfectly imperfect mended tapestry of our experiences with personal stories that make us who we are - a beautiful heart and soul, woven together with golden thread.
