Thistle is a one-of-a-kind handmade frog, hand-knitted slowly in my little Shropshire workshop.
Thistle has a habit of collecting tiny lost things - old buttons, feathers, seed heads and bits of broken pottery that she finds in the garden. She gathers them up and pops them into her little bag.
Thistle likes to sit on the edge of the old garden wall warming herself in the evening sun.
Thistle is a curious little frog who notices things, like the tiny flowers that grow in the cracks of the wall and the bees buzzing on the lavender.
She is steady and comforting and the sort of frog who makes the place feel calmer just by sitting there.
Each stitch was made slowly by hand, giving Thistle her very own softly wonky charm and tiny personality - no two frogs are ever quite the same.
Inspired by cottage gardens, old storybooks, mossy paths, and countryside afternoons, Thistle is made to bring a small touch of comfort and whimsical charm wherever she settles.
