This 1960s vintage fabric pencil case is perfect as a gift for an artist or for popping in your bag or desk drawer to keep your pens and pencils together.
The fabric I used to make this pencil case is a French 1960s vintage barkcloth called 'Eleonore'. It had never been used and and has been carefully stored so it looks brand new. The design features rectangles in various shades of blue and green with a pop of red and white from the occasional daisy. Eleonore means Shining Light or Bright One which I think descibes it perfectly.
As I only had a small amount of this beautiful fabric, this pencil case really is one-of-a-kind.
- Size 10 x 18 cm
- Made from French 1960s cotton barkcloth fabric
- Lined with Turquoise 100% cotton premium fabric from the Kona range by Robert Kaufmann
- Kona Cotton is certified "Standard 100" by Oeko-Tex
- Lightly padded with fleece interfacing
- Finished with a matching zip and top stitching
