These earrings, similar in style to the glamorous fan-shaped version, also showcase a slightly off-white, pearlescent lustre. However, they are crafted in a smaller, 1 cm diameter round disc shape, offering a more minimalist and pared-back glamour. The simplicity of the disc design is perfectly complemented by the rounded sweep of the sterling silver ear-wires.
Presented in a pretty lilac gift box with a velvety foam insert, these classic earrings are an elegant choice for any jewellery collection.
Mother of pearl, or nacre, is a strong, iridescent material forming the inner lining of certain mollusc shells, including oysters, abalone, and freshwater mussels. It is composed of microscopic calcium carbonate plates that create a shimmering, rainbow-like effect. It is widely used in jewelry, watch dials, and decorative inlay.
