Hearthkeeper Crow.
This primitive crow has been hand crafted from cloth, painted and aged with cinnamon. The wings feature appliquéd vintage embroidery, and it is mounted on a wooden dowel and a log slice.
Around the crow's neck is a rusted metal star, a tiny vial containing sage, rosemary, dandelion seed, cloves or lavender. (Please indicate which herb/s you would like at checkout) a tiny bell, mini pine cone charm, a pentacle and an antique key. A tattered scarf and a rusty safety pin finish off the crow's embellishments.
Standing at approximately 7 inches tall, the crow has a gentle presence that feels both ancient and comforting - equally at home on an altar, a seasonal display, or nestled among woodland curiosities.
Each piece is individually made. No two are ever quite the same, giving every crow their own quiet character.
Style & Inspiration: Rooted in folklore, pagan tradition, and rustic craft, this piece draws on old-world primitive dolls and protective talismans.
