Everyone says there craft is unique, I would like to say this industrial style key rack is an absolute one-off! Johnny Vegas would love it! (have you seen his TV show Little Shop of Antiques?)
It is repurposed from an old 1950's metal baking tin tray which i found at a recycling shop. I'm always on the lookout for unusual objects like this to give them new life.
Its cleaned up and sprayed with primer, and several authentic vintage shades of yellow, blue and green. Then, sanded back gently to expose the metal work and 6 chalk board squares painted on to add a practical label for each key hanger.
The key hangers are actually made from old bolts! each cleaned, sprayed then sanded back to match the main body.
It measures: 23cm high x 23cm wide x 5cm deep (including bolts). The bolt heads are 15mm wide so will accommodate any standard key fob/ring (usually 25mm)
