handmade stoneware rustic coffee mug, whale blue meadow glaze ceramic pottery custom poetry 'i wish you a kinder sea' by Emily Dickinson
can be customised with your own quote
this is made from stoneware clay and low fired to save energy. I decorate my mugs with hand carved linocuts and hand stamped text, then highlight these with black underglaze then apply a translucent gloss glaze to make them waterproof dishwasher proof and even suitable for the microwave.
size is 9-11cm tall x 7 cm approx 250ml
new! large 9-11cm x 9cm approx 450ml
style is rustic and organic
Please note that this item is made to order and the photos are not of the exact item that you will receive, glazes and colours effects vary with each items made and even sizes will vary slightly as they are handformed without moulds, please feel free to ask me questions before purchasing if you have any special requests or concerns.
