I was inspired one particularly warm afternoon while walking through a nearby nature reserve, where the meadows were absolutely alive with colour. I wanted to capture that feeling of unbridled summer joy and the eclectic mix of wildflowers I saw. I spent a long time looking for the right combination of faux blooms to mimic that natural, airy feel, particularly the pink cosmos and the whimsical dandelions. The grapevine base reminded me of the underlying texture of the field. The final addition of the trailing ribbons was to represent the summer breeze moving through the tall grasses. It's truly a piece of summer meadow captured and ready to brighten someone's home.
