I love to knit mitred square blanket and thought it would be fun to add a brushed cotton fabric to the back….it adds structure and weight making it extra cosy…the fabric was hand sewn in place!

Full description
This is a OOAK (one of a kind) knitted patchwork blanket.
It is machine washable on a gentle wash…..it is made in 100% premium acrylic.
Knitted in Premium Acrylic yarn in shades of pink, red and cream, I have then backed the blanket with a blue tartan design brushed cotton fabric, which has been sewn on by hand……to make it extra snuggly, it also adds a bit of weight to the blanket…….I have a similar one in different colours in daily use in my home.
The fabric was pre washed before being used so if the blanket needs washing there should be no shrinkage.
It is unique in that I have used up yarn leftover from other projects so there won’t be another one in these exact colours from me.
Have added a simple garter stitch border.
It measures 130cm ( 51in ) square approx
The blanket will be wrapped and posted out using 2nd class Tracked 48 postage.
I absolutely love to knit and crochet, a lot of love, patience and care and many, many hours goes into everything I make.
