A swede living in Oxford since many years, I started knitting socks during Covid, when I was not able to return home (and get my hands on my mother’s lovely socks). I was soon hooked! There is something about knitting socks… It takes time, but it is varied. My friends and neighbours all ended up with socks, and many started asking to buy them for friends. So now I continue with my quest to bring warmth and ‘Hygge’ (mys as we Swedes would say), to the UK.

Full description
Thick Scandinavian wool socks in 80% Wool for warmth and 20% Polyamide for durability. These make perfect all year round ‘slippers’, boot socks or even bed socks.
Each sock takes over 10 hours to hand knit, so makes a perfect unique and personal gift.
In superwash wool which means they are easy to care for. They can be machine washed in 40C, no softener nor tumble dry, just reshape before drying.

Short Socks are £15 and Long Socks are £20 plus VAT and P&P
I am happy to custom make, let me know colour and size and they can be sent within two weeks.
