Full description
This textile landscape art piece is crafted from offcuts of upcycled materials. A small cottage rests in a colorful landscape under a blue sky with a fluffy cloud. Using a mix of embroidery stitches, each fabric piece is hand-stitched to a piece of vintage fabric—no machine work involved. All fabrics are reclaimed, including a shaded chiffon scarf for the sky, lace from a vintage top, vintage brocade, and remnants from dressmaking. Beads and a button add texture. This calming artwork makes a perfect gift for someone who values the environment and aims to keep fabrics out of landfill. It comes in the white box frame shown, laced to cardboard for easy removal if desired, and measures 12 x 12 cm framed..
