I wanted to create something that felt both rustic and elegant as its usually one or the other - the idea was to contrast the raw natural wood against the soft sage green, rather than one continuous colour.
No two pieces I make are identical because the design evolves as I work - this one developed its own character along the way.

Hand painted green chalky finish. Decorated with four ornate carved wood appliqués in each corner, giving a French vintage/cottagecore feel. Solid wood frame in excellent condition.
