Moths are such an art piece in themselves the way they just are is art, and I truly admire them for that. With this painting, my aim was to share the beauty of the biggest moth in the world, the Atlas moth. This incredible creature really stands as a metaphor for transformation and change.
Upon starting this painting, I was really drawn to the ideology of change. The Atlas moth became the perfect symbol, capturing a feeling of embracing transformation and really seeing the beauty in it. To me personally, the Atlas moth reminds me that change, no matter good or bad, symbolizes life in general. Every encounter we make from the moment we are born shapes our very existence.
