I wanted to create a drawing board that felt as carefully made as the artwork produced on it. Many drawing boards available today are very plain, so I set out to design something more like a crafted object. The inspiration came partly from fine musical instruments, with clean binding lines, polished wood and careful detailing. The goal was to make a board that is both a practical studio tool and something an artist would enjoy using every day.
This is a custom-made item and cannot be returned unless faulty.
Please note that if your order is being posted outside mainland UK, you (or the recipient) may have to pay customs or VAT charges and a handling fee. The seller is not responsible for any charges or fees that may incur.

Designed as a durable and beautiful working surface for artists, illustrators and sketchers, this board features a smooth maple drawing surface framed by a clean routed border and finished with white instrument-style binding.
The sides are crafted from solid sapele mahogany, while the back panel is finished in sapele mahogany veneer with a deep, high-gloss, instrument-style lacquer. Each piece is carefully shaped, finished and polished by hand.
