This piece was inspired by star anise pods (used in cooking!) - an example of nature's beauty. I'm fascinated by seed pod, shells, buds with interesting forms and textures.

Full description
This paper pod light, designed and made in modules by me will add interest and intrigue to your space. I've manipulated the paper to add texture.
This design, made with white crepe paper and all-over sepia ink applied, also features honey-mustard coloured inserts between the segments.
The design is available in different coloured papers and ink, which you select when ordering.
Ink can be applied in several ways - see image 5 for choices (the additional of ink is optional).
Darker papers emit an ambient glow and paler ones a brighter light.
Paper pods are supplied with a disc-shaped LED light- this is not attached to the paper sculpture, which simply sits on top of the light.
The LED lead is 230cm long and requires a USB socket (not provided).
Approximate dimensions: 15 (diameter) x 10 (height) cm. Sizes can vary slightly.
