The inner bowl has a central design representing the rejuvenating, eternally restructuring energies of the yew tree.

Few living beings live as long as the yew tree. We have many yews in Wales well over 5,000 years old. Their energy is deeply bound to the deepest of histories.Their awareness transcends time and space.
Yew is thus a powerful energy to align with to gain a perspective on reality that goes beyond the usual human concerns. It can act on the human system as a protector of life energies, strengthening against negative influences.
Safety information
Yew wood is sometimes listed as toxic. All parts of yew contain compounds that are poisonous, especially the leaves, seed, roots and bark. Taxus baccata (English yew and Irish yew), are not the most poisonous species. Recent testing by Cambridge University has shown a very low level of toxins in the heartwood that might cause skin irritation in sensitive individuals.
