Living in Cumbria, surrounded by the beauty of the Lake District, I have always been inspired by the natural colours and landscapes around us. The lakes, mountains and ever-changing skies provide endless inspiration, and pieces like this are influenced by the stunning blues and natural tones of places such as Ullswater.
Before settling here, I spent time travelling in Africa, where I discovered a deep appreciation for traditional woodworking. What fascinated me most was how many of the pieces I saw weren’t just practical objects — they told a story. The carvings, patterns and craftsmanship reflected the landscape, culture and experiences of the maker.
When I returned to the UK, I realised I had rarely seen wooden kitchen pieces that carried that same sense of storytelling and place. That is what motivated me to start creating my own boards — combining natural wood with flowing resin designs inspired by the landscapes around me.

Food Safe: The resin used is fully cured and food safe. Not for Cutting: This board is designed as a serving or pizza presentation board, not a cutting board. Cutting directly on the resin may damage the surface. Heat Warning: Resin is not heatproof. Please do not place extremely hot cookware or freshly removed oven trays directly onto the board. Allow pizza or food to cool slightly before placing on the board. Cleaning: Wipe clean with a damp cloth and mild soap. Do not soak in water and do not place in the dishwasher. Handmade Item: Each board is handmade with hand-poured resin, meaning patterns, tones, and wood grain will vary, making every piece unique. Natural Materials: Wood may naturally expand or contract slightly with temperature and humidity changes.

Made by a small local business based in Cumbria, this board is created with care and attention to detail. It works perfectly as a pizza board, serving board, or centrepiece for sharing food with family and friends.
The resin used is food safe once fully cured, so the board can safely be used for serving pizza, cheeses, breads, and other foods.
