I adore flowers of all shapes, colours and sizes but particularly shades of pink, purple and white. I'm a keen gardener and lover of flora and fauna and take great enjoyment in creating my own little world of flowers.

Full description
I've created this beautiful fused glass tile to evoke an image of a pretty flower meadow and bees hovering above on a gorgeous summer's day with a fabulous blue sky. A piece of freestanding glass art, it's ideal for gifting or to add a unique vibe to your own home decor.
This piece started life as two separate glass tiles, a streaky blue one which I fused on top of a white one to bring out the wonderful effect of the sky.
I then created the picture using various different elements of coloured glass in relaxing tones of pink, purple and white and fused the tile again to a temperature that allows the picture to retain some texture and brings it to life.
Although I create various designs of flower meadow tiles, each one is truly unique as the streaky blue glass that I use will never have the same pattern and being handmade there will be very subtle differences due to the nature of fusing glass. The bees in particular vary as I make them by heating and twisting two canes of black and yellow glass together.
The tile measures c.12cm wide x 10cm high and sits freely on a little display easel which enables you to move it to different places if desired.
