I live on my narrowboat with my partner and moving around the London canals is very exciting and inspiring. We meet a lot of interesting people and animals alike. Some situations are challenging, but most of the time it feels like a great adventure. I see a lot of different beautiful textures on the canal, the water looks different every day. All these experiences have inspired me to create mythical creatures of the London canals.

Full description
These linoleum prints are part of my series mythical creatures of the London canals . So far I have made 'The Giant Eel of Islington Tunnel' ( in dark red) and 'The Three-Headed Swan of Kensal Town' ( in dark blue ). Every print is handmade and therefore unique. Colours, textures and size might vary slightly but should be relatively close to what is seen in the picture. These prints are an open edition. I have included the print number on the bottom left corner. These designs are under copyright for myself Maike Hitzeroth. The purchase of a print does not transfer the copyright to the buyer.
