This piece came into being when I was die cutting butterflies to use the negative as a stencil. Left with actual butterfly shape I decided to paint it, add texture paste and stamping. I then decided to try combining it with a more industrial look of cogs but continuing the feminine colour palette.

Full description
A beautifully feminine mixed media artwork featuring delicate florals, graceful butterflies and subtle steampunk cogs, all brought together in soft coral and gold.
The hand-painted background is enriched with layers of stamping and stencilling, adding intricate points of interest throughout. Each element is individually built up to create a piece depth, texture and gentle movement.
Presented in a 25cm wooden box frame the artwork is directly painted and embellished to create a seamless, handcrafted finish.
Fixings are not included so you can choose the best option for your space, though 3M mounting strips are a great choice for easy hanging.
Your artwork will be carefully wrapped, securely packaged and dispatched within 48 hours (excluding weekends and Bank Holidays).
