Just a bit of fun. Took me a few weeks to create this picture. I had to try and get as many different scenes and images squashed into the one picture. Finally I had to decide where each piece was placed to ensure the composition was visually balanced :)

UNIQUE: Handmade '49' Picture.

Very bright, cheerful, and visually stunning. '49' is a combination of mini pictures, each one different to the others. All hand created and each completely unique. I have used a variety of different glass types and techniques: glass sheet, glass stringers, frit, dichroic glass, millefiori beads, fused glass enclosures', glass-line pens, and glass enamelling.
Each picture was fired in my kiln for 13 hours. This allows the glass to melt and become one piece.
Wooden frame: 43 cm square x 1.6cm depth.
Picture: 29.5cm square x 6mm thickness (100% glass).
The picture has a hook on the back for hanging.
This picture is signed on the reverse, plus has a unique glass signature on the front.
