My inspiration is always my dad. Cold water swimming helps me to put things into perspective and makes me realize it's good to be alive.

Full description
I lost my dad 2 years ago, but while he is ill with dementia I used to visit him as much as I can despite the distance of a 3 hour train journey. To destress after each visit before travelling home I would go for a swim in the Bristol channel. I spend hours in the end staring up at the sky and watching the clouds dancing. So this paintings sums up the last week where he went down hill and didn't always recognise me. Despite this I look back at that time with a fondness that I was able to spend so much time with him before the end.
Even the biggest storm cloud passes.
Dimensions: 40x40cm unframed as has a braket to hang it up by.
