These earrings were inspired by sunshine and warmth — the kind of bright, uplifting energy that sunflowers naturally bring. I wanted to create a piece that feels joyful the moment you see it, like a little burst of summer you can wear.
The double sunflower design symbolises abundance, positivity and growth. Sunflowers always turn towards the light, and I love that meaning — resilience, optimism and strength. The scattered gold flakes were added to reflect sunlight, creating a glowing, almost golden-hour effect around the flowers.
After discovering how much comfort creativity brought me during difficult times, I felt drawn to designing pieces that radiate happiness and colour. These earrings are about brightness, boldness and choosing joy — even on grey days.
They’re essentially wearable sunshine.
